LISnews just noted the closing of the recently reopened Coliseum Books, in New York City, as part of this unfortunate trend and suggested that people support the independents. I agree. However, I must also note that not a few of the independent bookstores have radical leftist agendas, and a number of them refuse to carry literature that has a right-of-center or even a centrist point of view.
